Coastal Family Home Concept
The Brief
Designed for a growing family wanting a relaxed, coastal-inspired home with strong indoor-outdoor connection. The goal was to create a layout that feels open and light, while still providing clear zones for family living and privacy.
The Challenge
Balancing open-plan living with practical zoning, ensuring the home works for everyday life, not just aesthetics.
The Design Approach
The layout centres around a spacious kitchen, living and dining zone that flows directly to the outdoor area, creating a natural hub for family life and entertaining. Bedrooms are positioned to allow separation between parents and children, improving both privacy and functionality.
